| We have established strategic alliances with some of
the world's largest feed and pharmaceutical companies to develop specialised
and innovative feeds for cows under the Cows-R-Us brand. We have taken
the latest scientific advances in Australia and the USA and packaged
these with the active support of Pfizer, Elanco, Roche, George Weston
Feeds, Biovance USA and others into feeds that are accessible for
farmers. Our feeds are leading the world and aim to strategically control digestion in the cow so as to reduce the risk of disease and increase the efficiency of digestion. While formulated to enhance our pasture base, the strategies used can be incorporated into total mixed ration (TMR) feedlot systems. We have taken control of digestion in the cow and the outcomes are healthier and more productive cattle. All Cows-R-Us feeds are manufactured by contracted suppliers to strict specifications for quality (ISO accredited, internationally recognised). We use epidemiologically sound quality control sampling methods to check product quality. Our feeds improve the health of cattle, reduce greenhouse emissions from cattle and by increasing production, improve the efficiency of conversion of grass to milk and meat. With the help of our range of feeds to control digestion, we can make use of manufacturing waste products including citrus pulp and brewers grain, waste chips, breakfast cereals, and by-products from flour manufacture . By keeping by-products out of landfill-dumps, turning by-products into milk and by reducing waste from cows, we provide a clean, environmentally sustainable agriculture. |
